Short Break Parent / Carer Questionnaire

Overview

Trafford Council Early Help Commissioning team have identified some underspend within their budget which they would like to use to help increase capacity for the short breaks offer. This funding is a one-off payment, so however it is used will only be for a short term. However, we would like to get your views as the families who do, or are eligible to, access the current short break offer to ensure we are spending the money in the most effective way for you. 

Currently Trafford has 3 services:

• Sport works 5 – 11 years (weekends during term time and weekdays during holidays)
• Sport Works 11 – 18 years (weekends during term time and weekdays during holidays)
• SENSE 5 – 18 years (weekdays during holidays)

To get a better understanding on how to use the funding, we would like to know what a short break offer looks like to you. We appreciate everyone’s needs are different so we hope by getting as much parent / carer feedback as possible we can try and meet some of those needs.
