Help us Shape the future of Trafford Leisure’s Swimming Offer

Trafford Leisure is reviewing its current swimming offer to ensure it is truly fit for purpose and meets the diverse needs for all individuals and groups who use our pools. As part of this work, we are keen to capture the thoughts and experiences of residents who have children with SEND.

By spending just a few minutes completing this survey, you will be helping us understand what works well, what could be improved and how we can make our swimming sessions as inclusive, accessible and enjoyable as possible.

Your feedback is especially valuable as Trafford Council continues its programme of leisure centre redevelopment. With the major refurbishments underway, move Urmston and move Altrincham now completed, Partington due to reopen in Spring 2027, your views will help shape both future design and longer-term planning. They will also guide us in identifying what improvements we can make now or over the next 12 months to better meet the needs of SEND families.

As part of our strategic review of our pool programmes we are proud that Trafford’s pools already perform above national trends for usage. Your insight will help us build on this success and continue to develop facilities and sessions that work for everyone.
