Overview

In October 2018 Trafford Council Executive approved the leisure centre investment strategy as set out in the Executive Report. Part of the strategy included the procurement of a design and build contract for Altrincham Leisure Centre and a release of capital to develop the proposals to the planning application stage.

Why your views matter

The Council is keen to ensure that the views of the local community are heard and that any proposals taken forward for the Altrincham Leisure Centre site will have benefited from the input and engagement of local residents and businesses. This will help us to achieve the best possible solution and maximise the potential of the site for the local area.

What happens next

The consultation for Altrincham Leisure Centre ran from 17/06/2019 to 07/07/2019.

The responses will be collated, analysed and presented to Trafford Council and partners in order to achieve the best possible solution and maximise the potential of the site for the local area.

A report summarising the responses and recommending the way forward will then be presented to the Trafford Council Executive and published online.
