Longford Park Masterplan and National Lottery Heritage Fund Bid
Overview
Trafford Council are working with The Friends of Longford Park, lead consultants The Environment Partnership (TEP), environmental charity City of Trees and a range of other partners to develop a vision and masterplan that will guide the restoration and improvement of the park’s key assets and facilities; support our climate emergency response; reconnect people with heritage and nature and secure the park’s long term sustainable management.
The masterplan will be the product of engagement with local people and groups, and will form part of a major funding bid to the National Lottery Heritage Fund later this year.
This public consultation will run for a 4 week period between 28 May 2022 and 24 June 2022.
