Overview
Trafford Council invites you to make comments on whether you think the Trafford Local Plan 2022-2039 Publication Version (July 2026) is legally compliant and sound. Comments are invited from 6 August 2026 until 23:59 on 18 September 2026.

- Interactive Policies Map, showing site allocations and designations
- Integrated Assessment Report (IA), comprising Sustainability Appraisal, Equalities Impact Assessment, Health Impact Assessment, Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA)
- Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA)

This survey has been split into two sections.
The questions in the 'Personal details' section are compulsory and only need to be completed once. Comments when made public will include your name (and organisation where relevant) but no other personal information will be published.
The 'Your representation' section includes seven questions.
A separate ‘Your representation’ section should be completed for each representation you wish to make. A question at the end of this section will let you submit another representation. Please note that the online form allows a maximum of 10 representations. If you would like to submit more representations, please submit a new online form, or request a Word version of the representation form.

Data protection
The Council cannot accept anonymous representations. Please note all comments will be held by the Council and will be available to view publicly. Comments cannot be treated as confidential.
Your personal information such as your postal and email address will not be published, but your name and organisation (if relevant) will. Your name and representation will also be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate as part of the examination process.
Your details will be held by the Council only for the purposes of the Local Plan and will not be shared with any third party. Once the Local Plan process has been completed, your details will be removed from our systems, although your name and representation will remain a matter of public record in perpetuity.
