Overview
During the Consultation Process we identified a number of posts in the proposed structure which employees would be assimilated into.
For clarity, assimilation is where someone’s current post and a new post are fundamentally the same (normally at least 60% of the duties and responsibilities contained in the new post’s job description are contained in the current job description).
WHY WE DOING THE SURVEY
Where employees are to be assimilated into a particular role and there is a choice to be made about which Locality or Service Area or specialism they should be placed in, employees will be given the opportunity to outline their preferences.
What happens next
Once received the details will be shared with your line manager who will be asked to complete a testimonial form to endorse your skills and experience.
Once all preference forms have been endorsed we will then begin the allocation process.
We will endeavour to place people into their preferred role and Service area wherever possible, taking into account operational considerations and the need to ensure that we have the right mix of skills and experience across all teams but they cannot be guaranteed.
We will then contact everyone to confirm which role/Service area they have been assimilated to.
