Contacting Trafford Council
Overview
Trafford Council is taking a fresh look at the different ways people deal with the council - whether that’s online, by phone, by email, or by speaking to someone in person.
We want to make better use of online services so that dealing with the Council is quicker, easier, and more convenient for everyone. By moving more simple enquiries online, our staff will have more time to support people with complex questions or those who may be more vulnerable and need extra help.
We’re already working closely with council teams and councillors, but what matters most is hearing from you - our residents, businesses, visitors, and partners. Your feedback will help us understand what’s working well and where we need to improve.
In December 2025, we launched our new and improved Trafford Council website. It’s designed to help you find information more easily and contact us online 24 hours a day, whenever it suits you. Online forms also help us collect the right information straight away, so we can often deal with your enquiry more quickly.
For example, you can now apply for a resident parking permit online, making the process faster and simpler.
We’d really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete this survey.
We’ll ask about your experience dealing with the council in the past. This might have been for a number of reasons, such as finding information, paying for a service, etc:
- Why you contacted the Council
- How you got in touch
- What happened as a result
Your experiences will help us shape better services for everyone in Trafford.
Thank you for sharing your views.
