Trafford Citizens Assembly

Closed 15 Nov 2021

Opened 4 Nov 2021

The pandemic has highlighted the importance and benefits of working together to tackle the big challenges ahead of us.

This is why we are organising a Trafford Citizens Assembly and hosting two key events for our residents on addressing our climate crisis.

We’re looking for a group of residents to represent the borough starting with a launch event in the evening on Tuesday 30 November in Trafford and a larger event planned for March 2022.

In preparation for the larger session, we would like a mix of residents to come together on the 30 November for Trafford Citizens Assembly to help shape how we can work together to address the climate crisis.

We are looking for people of all ages, ethnicities, genders, disabilities and backgrounds to take part, from all areas of Trafford.

The session will include:

  • How the wider green agenda is relevant to all our daily lives
  • Explaining and understanding the key issues
  • Invite questions and ideas about how to work together
  • Focus on practical actions we can all take forward
